Kayaking on the Hood Canal
At Robin Hood Village Resort, our property sits on the Olympic Peninsula and features all sorts of beautiful creatures that call these waters and woods home.  Seals, eagles, and even orcas are all animals you may encounter during your adventure here.  We provide an excellent respite from the greater Seattle area and our 16 unique cottages are the perfect resting place or home base for even the most energetic adventurer.

Explore Hood Canal
Therefore, it’s no wonder that most people who choose to visit us want to go explore the outdoors right away, and we love that we offer a ton of things to do on and around the premises, including camping, hiking, and mountain biking.  We’re also particularly fond of kayaking along our adjacent Hood Canal.

Free Kayaks
It’s an absolutely breathtaking scene that’s even better at dusk or dawn, and the sunrises and sunsets are both stunningly gorgeous.   You can take a canoe or paddle board if that’s more appealing, but we recommend kayaks if you don’t have a preference. We offer free kayaks to our guests and encourage you to relax in one of our many hot tubs after your water adventure.

You’ll have a choice between more leisurely kayaking or even kayak tours or some more adventurous courses.   Nearby Hood Canal Adventures also provides paddle boat and motor boat rentals, as well as group events and guided kayak tours.  There’s also geocaching, if you want to see what fun surprises are out there waiting for you.

Lazy Kayaking
The Hood Canal’s waters are protected, so it’s a perfect place for novices or families, and there are many inlets and sheltered coves if you need to take a break or stop for a good photo opportunity.  There are many beautiful beaches and a ton of serene landscapes.
