Q: What time is check in / check out?
A: If you have a reservation, your cottage is available anytime after 3pm - Check in at the Pub.
Check out time is 11am. Simply leave the key in the cottage and go!
Q: What cottages have hot tubs?
A: Cottages #1, #2, #3, #4, #7, #8, #9, #11, #12, #13, #15 & #18.
Q: What cottages have fireplaces?
A: Cottages #1, #2, #3, #4, #5, #6, #7, #8, #15 have electric fireplaces. #18 has a gas fireplace.
Q: Do you charge my credit card when booking online?
A: Yes, a $20 Non Refundable Deposit is due at the time of your reservation. The balance will be ran the day before check in with the card on file.
If you are booking 3+ night stays there is a 25% non-refundable deposit and the balance is run the day before check in.
Q: What is included in the Cottages?
A: Coffee, tea, oatmeal packets, coffee, hot cocoa, tea, kitchen soap, bath soap, shampoo, make up wipes. Cable TV, WiFi, chairs, table, couch!
Linens: Bed sheets, blanket, bed spread, 4 bath towels, 4 hand towels, 2 wash cloths, 2 kitchen towels and 1 potholder.
All kitchens have a fridge, microwave, coffeepot, 4 wine glasses, 4 water glasses, 4 plates, 4 bowls, 4 sets of silverware, can opener, wine opener and ice cube trays. Cottages 3,4,7,8, and 11 also have ovens and 2 sauce pans, 2 frying pans , mixing bowl, strainer, baking sheet, cutting board, 4 steak knives and an 8” cutting knife, pancake turner, spatula, and large stir spoon.
Cooking kits or can be added to any cottage. These kits include a hot plate and 2 sauce pans, 2 frying pans, pancake turner, spatula, and large stir spoon. Please just ask at check in and we will gladly provide it for you. All cottages have WiFi, heat (AC in summer months only) and electricity.

Q: Are Dogs Allowed?
A: Yes and no! Dogs only are allowed in all cottages #4, #9, #10, #12, & #13 only. There is a $20 pet fee per pet, per stay. 2 dog max.
Should we see a pet in a non pet friendly room $200 will be charged, or you will be asked to leave right away without a refund. Please don't put us in this position. We have to do a Carpet cleaning machine between guests which usually means a whole day off the market for this to happen.
Q: Can I bring my children?
A: Yes! Cottage #3, #4, #8 & #15 are perfect for Kids! Cottages, #9, #10, #12 & #13 also have a single pull out bed that is great for one child. Other cottages include 1 queen size bed only.
Q: Where is the Nearest Grocery Store?
A: Stop for groceries on your way here...Belfair has a large Safeway, Shelton if coming from south has Fred Meyer, Union Country Store is located about a 1.5 miles down the road open in the summer only, and a full grocery store IGA is 15 minutes away in Hoodsport.- follow the canal 106 West to Hwy 101 and head North to Hoodsport. There you will also find the gateway to Lake Cushman and the Staircase recreation area, as well as quaint shops and restaurants.
Q: Are the Cottages on the water?
A: No, they are in a circle across the road from the Hood Canal. Robin Hood Village Resort does have a great waterfront that guests are able to use with a dock, gazebo, fire pits, grilling station, kayaks, games and more. Cottage #18 is the only unit on the waterfront, and is a beautiful Montana 5th wheel, with hot tub, private double kayak, firepit, bbq, and other extras. see cottage description for more (2 person limit, 2 night min)
Q: Can we pick Oysters?
A: Yes, you do however need your Washington state shellfish license. Twanoh State Park (5 miles down the road) is open for oyster harvesting year-round, or you are welcome to grab a few right from our waterfront! we do not recommend that you pick oysters during the warmer months.
Q: Are there fire-pits?
A: Cottages #7, #8 have private fire pits. We do have other fire pits located along our creek and on the waterfront for all cabins to enjoy.
Q: How much are the kayaks & firewood?
A: Kayaks are FREE! Kayaks are located across the street on our waterfront and life jackets and paddles are in the shed.
Firewood is $5.00 for a generous bundle, and is located next to the pub in the parking lot.
Q: Do you have BBQ Grills?
A: Yes, we have three outdoor propane grilling stations that are available to guests. They are already hooked up with propane. Simply turn on and use.
The individual cottages #3 , #4, and #18 do have private BBQ Grills.
Q: What is your Cancellation Policy?
A: We have a 7-day cancellation policy, on 2 night or less stays.. ALthough you will lose the $20 deposit on 2 night or less stays. If you are a no-show you will be charged in full for your stay.
For 3+ night stays there is a 25% non refundable deposit and a 30 day cancellation policy. If you cancel within 30 days, we will try to rent your room to another guest, but you may be responsible for the full amount of your stay. We are a small resort with only 15 cottages and do not have the last minute flexibility of cancellations.
Q: Event Cancellation Policy?
A: Group Cancellation Policy / Rules / Charges:.
The $1300 event/grounds fee to reserve your entire weekend is non-refundable.
The Only cottages that may be released from your group event are cottages 3, 4, 14, 18.. All other cottages must be paid for by your event. In the event that you want to release 3,4,14, 18 we will need a 30 day notice.
Q: Why would I be charged extra for cleaning?
A: We pride ourselves in having spotless cottages for your arrival. We are happy to clean your towels, linens and cottage for normal use. If your cottage needs excessive cleaning for excessive messes you will be billed at $35 per hour. This includes pet messes, excessive cooking smells, and of course smoking is not allowed if we smell smoke in the cabin it is $50 to deodorize for the next guest.
Q: What cottages are wheelchair accessible?
A: Cottages #1, 2, 5, 6 and 15 all have ramps or flat access into the cottages. We do not advertise the cottages as being wheelchair friendly because our bathrooms are on the small side and the showers are single stand-up showers. The cottages listed above are the best options for wheelchair accessibility.

Q: What Ferry from Seattle should I take?
A: The Seattle/Bremerton Ferry connects Downtown Seattle to Bremerton. Bremerton is 27 miles from Robin Hood Village Resort.
Q: Do you rent RV Spots?
A: No, Robin Hood Village Resort does not rent out RV sites
Q: How far are you from Alderbrook Resort?
A: We are located about a 200 yards South on HWY 106. Just a short walk!
Q: I bought a Groupon. How do I book?
A: Its easy and you can book online. Click on "book now" tab. Click the promo button to the right of the calendar, enter promotional code in box below calendar. Find an open date and cottage you would like for your stay. Complete the reservation. The ONLY charge to your card will be a non refundable $20 deposit and the 10.5% room tax, once your reservation comes in and we get the voucher number we will apply it to your reservation.
Q: What are the specific wedding financials?
The total cost for all cottages is approximately $8,000.00 before sales tax. (Please note that Washington State Sales Tax on Lodging is 10.5%) We require an additional $1,300.00 non-refundable grounds use fee. Most couples simply pay the $1,300 fee, the cost of their cottage and then have friends and family reserve/pay for their rooms on their own. This strategy really makes weddings at Robin Hood Village Resort affordable. We require that all cottages be paid in full 30 days prior to your event. We ask you to leave the grounds and cottages in the same condition you found them in. Any clean up that we have to do will be billed at $50/hour + Materials.
Q: What is your Event Cancellation Policy / Rules / Charges?
Event Cancellation Policy: Weddings/Events that are here on site are not cancellable. Your event fee of $1,300 is non-refundable. If members of your party do not end up filling the cottages, you are responsible for payment for all unused cottages. (releasable cottages are 3,4,14,18)
Do you have any Safety Concerns?
We are committed to the safety of all of our guests. For the safety of our beautiful surroundings, Robin Hood Village Resort does not allow the use of fireworks or lighting of paper lanterns to be released. We also provide kayaks for you to use with your own limitations in mind. We provide life jackets and ask that you do not mix water sport and drinking for your safety. Thank you.
